Message Ok so I have slowly been working on my Z constantly going back and forth on the idea of weather or not I should go with a track build or have a fun street car! It's been 2 years that I have been working on the Z and with buying cars for daily drivers and maintaining them money has been scarce... especially after being layed off from work...

Well in April I bought my friends Mk3 supra turbo as a DD for school (I was attending UTI). Well in late June I fried a few pistons (long story)! I had to drop out of school which was terrible because I was doing great, I had a 4.0 gpa and a few awards. Well after being withdrawn from school I am getting a refund for 2000+ dollars... so now I need to make a decision on fixing the Z or the supra and I know being on this forum you will all say the Z as I would too...

Heres the issue... If I go with the route of fixing the Z I will be using cheaper parts for the exhaust like dp's and tp's... another thing is the paint, the car looks terrible and I will want to get a maaco job until I can afford to take it too get a good job done... So unless I can find good exhaust parts in the classy section then I will probably be cheaping out on the car!

Heres a list of things I need for the Z for reference:

Test Pipes
Downpipes
Boost gauge
Front Fascia
Fuel pump
Oil line thermostat
Paint job

I know IPP and CZP are good vendors but I dont know if it's worth it to get the megan tp's and dp's I found on their sites... they are in my price range and appear to be better than stock. So any opinions would be appreciated.

If I go with the Z route be prepared for many questions and it would be great if anyone would be willing to come help me out. I'm pretty set on finishing my Z swap but need a little advise/encouragement I guess!
